Iridology
Iridology enhances our ability to understand our body. Our eyes tell us many things; they are like windows to our soul, with continued energy moving in and out. We look out of our eyes and organise our personality, interests and experience, why then can we not look into our eyes and see the interior world reflected in the iris?
Iridology is a science whereby the practitioner can tell from the markings and signs in the iris of the eye the reflex conditions of various organs and areas of the body. It reveals inherent characteristics of the tissues, organs and shows changes resulting from poor nutrition, bad living habits or weak areas. It can be used as a check-up on the patient's health, lifestyle and environment. The iris is a personal identification, like a handprint or fingerprint. Every person's iris is distinctly unique and represents who and what we are.
Ancient medicine contains references to iris markings, from the earliest days of Chaldean and Egyptian history. The Cairo museum contains a display case full ceramic eyes covered with iris markings.
The practitioner is able to show the patient their strengths and weaknesses, give advice on their constitutional type and explain what areas of their body needs support. The basic treatment will probably stimulate elimination so that toxins, acid and chemicals leave the body. Further treatments include strengthening weak organs and body areas and encouraging a healthy life force. The practitioner will prescribe Natural Medicines (Herbal medicines, Nutritional supplements and / or Homeopathy remedies) and possible advice other therapies to assist the body to throw off unwanted conditions and return to improved vitality.
First consultation needs to be 1½ hours and subsequent follow up treatments are about 1 hour.
