These terms and conditions are intended to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the sale of goods proposed online by Rainbow Apothecary for the customer.

Any suggestions made and the products listed are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, condition or symptom. It is always advised that you seek a personal consultation with a Naturopath, Nutritionist, Herbalist, GP or other qualified healthcare practitioner. 

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Payment Methods Payment is may be made by Paypal, either by using your existing Paypal account or by using your credit/debit card with the Paypal facility.

 If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a confirmation email. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We also reserve the right to confirm/ increase postage charges for overseas orders should they be more than the postage estimated in checkout.

Tax Charges Our prices are inclusive of all Tax, where appropriate

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. Your payment is totally secure and your payment details are not held on our website.

Order Confirmation All contractual information will be confirmed by email to the address specified by the customer during the purchasing act.

Product Information Manufacturer and brand names are only used for identification purposes. Product photos, descriptions and prices are non-contractual. 

Validity Period of Offer and Prices Our offers and prices are valid for the day the site is consulted and are subject to change without notice.

Warranty The customer is expressly informed that we are not the manufacturer of the goods presented in our site and that we cannot be held liable for defective goods. In the case of damage to a person or property resulting from a product defect, only the product manufacturer shall be held liable and sought after by the customer, by means of the information provided on the packaging of said product. 

Right to Withdrawal In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, the customer has the right to a cooling off period of seven (7) business days, starting at the time goods are received, to cancel the contract and return said goods at their own expense, without having to give a reason. All returns must be indicated beforehand to us by email via the Contact us page. Please send email before the 7 days is up and wait for further instructions. All goods must be returned to us in its original packaging and in perfect condition (perfect condition means in its original packaging and resalable condition). Only complete and unused goods in perfect condition for resale will be accepted. No refunds or exchanges will be made for incomplete, damaged or unsealed goods, including damage to original packaging. If you request a refund or exchange you will be responsible for the full return postage & re-packaging costs. If you request an exchange you will also need to pay the cost of posting the replacement goods to you again! Please note: You MUST get proof of postage and suitable Insurance of the unwanted goods as you will be responsible for product damage & loss on its return to us!

The cooling off period and right to cancel do not apply to contracts, orders for any goods made to your specification, any downloaded goods or unsealed goods including but not limited to (DVD, CD, Tapes, Software, Video and audio).

If the right to withdrawal is exercised as above, we will make every effort to refund the customer within 30 days.
